Oshweken August Long Weekend Mud Races

The mud racing this past August long weekend at the Mohawk Motorsports Park near Oshweken, ON was hot and wild! This was the second event at the new venue and was a definite improvement, in both track conditions and car count. The race vehicles ranged from stock Trackers and Grand Cherokees to full blown, nitrous powered, paddle tired, mud monsters.
Here are the results. Note that the times are combined from two runs per day.

There were prizes also given to the fastest run per day. For day one Gary Allison and Bert VanLoon both split this prize with a time of 4.99 seconds each. Bert VanLoon also won Day two’s fastest time with a time of 5.24 seconds.
Another prize given was for the most extreme run of the weekend. This was a spectator decision, which was won by Chris Bonnett in his Heartbreaker.
