Chris Boutcher, of Langley, won the overall honours in the Sportsman Buggy Class. Chris is a regular on the Kamloops Off Road Racing section of the OFF ROAD ACTION message board.

The KORR May 25th race was the perfect race day. Fast cars, fast trucks, loads of adrenaline, and very pumped up spectators. A few new, some heavily reconditioned, and of course the teams who just show up at every race brought out their cars and trucks to put on 1 of the best season openers in the history of Kamloops off road racing. Maple Ridge resident Dan Barrett finished 3rd place in the Sportsman Truck class with his wild looking Corvette.

Pro Truck
1st Place – #756 Broc Ross of Deer Island, OR.
2nd Place - #18 Chris Pace of Bellingham, WA.
3rd Place - #878 Don Endean of Kamloops, B.C.
Local Kamloops racer Don Endean took 3rd place in the Pro Truck class.
Broc Ross came all the way from Deer Island, Ore to win the Pro Truck class.
Chis Pace is another american that regularly makes the long haul from across the border to race in Kamloops. The Bellingham, Wa. native finished 2nd in the Pro Truck class.
Another local Kamloops racer, Tim Clark placed second place in the Sportsman Buggy class.
The second place finisher in Sportsman Truck was Chris Turner from Mission.
It must have been the new paint job! Shane Bourel took his ultra clean single seat buggy into Pro Buggy class winners circle.
Another Kamloops racer, Scott Hawkins placed 3rd in the Sportsman Buggy class in his wild Baja Bug.
Steve Edgar, of Kamloops, took home the gold his Sportsman Truck class Blazer.
